Massage - Masques - Waxing

Established in 1997

I thought I'd start by telling you a bit about how I fell into massage. I remember when I was about thirteen; my mom would ask me to give her back rubs while she was making dinner. She was a seamstress and sewing all day took a big toll on her arms and shoulders. Long before I knew anything about carpal tunnel syndrome, my mom had sore forearms, so I would give her arm massages. Also, when she had migraines, I was the one she chose for massages. I would ask her, “why me?” She confided, "Because you know how to make my achy muscles feel better. You always give just the right pressure.” I never thought this would turn into my profession.

In early 1996, I met a massage therapist, Lohan Brugera, LMT, not knowing he would one day become my mentor. From his friendship I found out more about massage therapy. One day I called Lohan and mentioned that I was contemplating massage therapy as a career. He suggested I “come over and give me a massage and I'll tell you what I think and, in turn, I will give you a massage." So, I went over and we traded massages. After he was done I thought, “Wow, this is exactly what I would want to provide to my clients! This is the feeling I want to share.” By the end of 1997, I was certified and licensed.
I am also certified in Hydro Therapy and by popular demand, I've decided to expand my work and incorporate a few treatments to compliment massage - like a wonderful hydrating facial, Tormaline Charged Radiance Masque, a Deep Cleansing Dead Sea Facialand a refreshing Tea Tree Oil Foot Masque. These are all delightful additions to massage. I am always looking for other ways to pamper my clients.

What makes me stand out from the rest is the way I customize my work to each individual client. During the initial consultation, I will examine your Health History and ask a few questions. According to your answers, I will customize your session! I have been asked what massage-giving is like for me. Well, its a bit like meditation for me. I believe this state of mind transcends into my work, which in turn aids me in allowing my client to enter into a deep relaxation mode.
